Cleaning The Interiors of a Yacht
The first step towards cleaning the interiors of a yacht involves getting rid of all the dust accumulated inside. You can either use a dust vac or a vacuum cleaner to eliminate dust particles gathered around windows, floors, ceilings, furniture, partitions, bulkheads and other areas. If you don’t have a vacuum cleaner, use a good-quality brush to clean off the dust.
If necessary, remove or dismantle the furniture so that each and every corner can be cleaned thoroughly. You can send bedsheets, cushions and upholstery for professional cleaning. After the dusting process is done, wipe the surfaces with the help of a damp micro-fiber cloth. A vinegar solution can be used for better results. Just make sure that the surface you are about to wipe is not too sensitive or doesn’t react adversely to the solution you are using.
Near the end of the cleaning process, you have to keep an eye out for the finer details. Look into the grooves of the handles, switches, joinery and fastenings and check if they are clean enough. If you are planning to lease out your yacht to somebody, you have to be all the more careful about the cleaning and hygiene conditions.
